New Altitude

Bob Wickman signs with the Diamondbacks. AZ Snakepit hopes the rumors about his attitude are just rumors. He's been very good at keeping the ball in the park in his career, with should be good in a high altitude stadium.

1100 ft isn't really high elevation, though I guess most ballparks are pretty close to sea level.

Yo!

Great site, David. Everyday reader, first time poster.

If anybody has MLB Extra Innings and isn't blacked out in Virginia or Maryland (thank you, Peter Angelos), Smoltz has a no hitter through 7. The Nats' only baserunners have come on a couple walks and an error by Escobar; Smoltz has 10 strikeouts on 103 pitches.
