Edge of your Seat
The Cubs and Phillies have been tied at four since the top of the fifth inning. The teams keep putting runners on base, but can't bring them around to score. Chicago left the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, and the Phillies just left them loaded in the top of the ninth. I don't think the Cubs fans have sat down in a while.
Update: Myers loads the bases with one out in the bottom of the ninth. After striking out Kendall, he uncorks a wild pitch with Floyd at the plate, and the Cubs win 5-4, moving past the Brewers by percentage points into first place. It's a nice comeback as the Cubs have made up 8 1/2 games since June 22nd.
