Get the Sure Out

The Texas Rangers defeat the Cleveland Indians in ten innings 9-6. With the leadoff hitter on with a single, the Indians try to get the lead runner on a sacrifice and fail. That leads to another sacrifice by the Rangers, and this time the pitcher throws the ball away. That brought in the go ahead run, and Texas would score two more. Saltalamacchia went one for five with two RBI.

The loss puts the Yankees just two back of Cleveland in the wild card race. If Seattle holds on, they'll be 1/2 a game out. Detroit and Cleveland are trying to give the division to the other as the Tigers are 2-8 in their last ten and Cleveland is 3-7.
