Getting On

Every one of the Mets starting position players reached base tonight. And with all those men on base, two of the three home runs hit by New York did a lot of damage tonight. Anderson and Castro both went deep with two men on, and the Mets take an 8-5 victory over the Brewers. Oliver Perez struck out eleven, but gave up five runs. The Brewers were five for thirteen against Perez when they put the ball in play.
