One Base Red Sox

The Red Sox picked up five hits and drew five walks through six innings against Steve Trachsel, but have scored just one run. All five hits went for singles, and the walks are concentrated in two batters, Ortiz(2) and Crisp(3). They're getting runners on, but they're not supplying any power to move them along. The Orioles lead 3-1 in the top of the seventh.

Update: Shuey comes in to start the seventh, and gives up a walk and a single. Parrish comes in, but this time Ortiz doubles to drive in a run. After walking Manny, Bradford pitches to Youkilis. Kevin fouls off pitches until he gets one over the plate that he drives to the triangle in center for two more runs and a 4-3 Boston lead. Once more, the Orioles bullpen fails to hold a lead late.
