Braves Offense
Without Teixeira in the lineup, the Braves break ten runs for the second game in a row as they defeat the Astros 12-4. The youngsters McCann, Francoeur and Johnson combined for four home runs (two for Johnson) and ten RBI. And even without Dotel, the Braves bullpen managed four hitless, scoreless innings. And as soon as their new bat and arm arrive, they'll be even deeper.

Took forever for the deal to be finalized, but Teixeira got to the stadium in the seventh inning. The crowd gave him a nice ovation, as well they should. Suddenly, the Braves lineup looks downright intimidating, even with Andruw's bad year. (Which isn't really too horrible. He's got a .742 OPS. Worst among the regulars but not godawful.)
