Five in the Ninth

The Orioles save their best for last, scoring five runs in the bottom of the ninth, but still fall short of the Chicago White Sox 9-7. Kevin Millar hit a three run homer to bring the team within two, but that's where the scoring ended.

Nine players picked up multiple hits in the game, five by the White Sox and four by the Orioles. The White Sox concentrated them in their three through seven hitters, doing a little more damage and winning the game.
