More Records Breakers
I've blogged about the assault on the doubles, triples and home run records, but I didn't realize Jimmy Rollins was on a pace to break the dubious at bats record. That usually goes to a leadoff hitter who seldom walks on a great offensive team. Check.

Now that's one I wouldn't have expected anyone to come close to anytime soon. Hitters seem to patient these days.
Ichiro almost nabbed the record with his 704 AB's in 2004. Of course, not coincidentally, he also got that little old hits record the same year. I doubt Rollins will get close to 262 hits, though he's got a good shot at 200-some.
