When did the All-Star Break Get Longer?

There are only six games scheduled for tomorrow!

I think it is ridiculous that only 6 games are scheduled. And why 10 AL teams and only 2 NL? The irony is that the teams with the most All-Stars -- DET, BOS, NYY, and NYM -- all play. Wouldn't it make sense to let these teams have the extra day for their guys to return and rest? Granted the schedule was set up before the ASG choices, but that these teams would be well represented isn't exactly a surprise.

It makes little to no sense to me either. Mez has a good point too - those teams were assured to have a lot of all stars when the schedule was made.

And such is life in the minors. AAA ASG is today, and the Mudhens (Timo Perez & Mike Hessman) have to play a game in Toledo tomorrow -- as I'm sure many other players do. Travel & play a few hours later.

I think they should make it 4 days for everyone, except maybe a ESPN game. It's a nice break for everyone.
