Making the Most of Your Hits

The Twins lead the White Sox 6-4 in the bottom of the third inning. Minnesota scored their six with just seven hits. They've also drawn a walk. But four of the seven hits went for extra bases, meaning they were able to advance base runners a long way without many safeties.

Update: Kubel just hit a grand slam to make it 12-4 Minnesota. The Twins have now scored more runs than they've collected hits (11).
