I was just looking at the Yankees/White Sox boxscore, and noticed D. Day pitching. And I thought his whereabouts were unknown!

Alex Rodriguez takes him deep for home run number 21 on the season. The White Sox are batting in the bottom of the ninth down 7-2. However, nothing is over until they say it's over. :-)

I think Ozzie Guillen has a sense of humor or the White Sox have hired the ghost of Bill Veeck for promotion gigs. To have D. Day actually pitching the night before D-Day's anniversary...too amusing. Since he's a reliever, it's possible they'll pitch him tomorrow too - on D-Day's anniversary. Yeah, that should stop Steinbrenner.

Nicely done; was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
