White Out
Horacio Ramirez started poorly for the Mariners, leaving after just two innings with Seattle leading 4-3. The Mariners should have found a way to stick with Ramirez. Sean White entered in the third and allowed seven runs in 2/3 of an inning on six hits and three walks. He's now pitched 23 innings, allowed 16 earned runs while walking 14 and striking out 11. I get the feeling he's heading back to the minor soon.
So Seo, despite pitching poorly, gets to stay in the game and save the bullpen due to the 10-4 lead.

Between the Ramirez trade, the Vidro deal, and the Weaver signing, when does the Bill Bavasi deathwatch begin?
Oh, I forgot... they'll fire Hargrove instead. There's a lot of this going around: GMs make bad moves, then blame the manager when the team goes south. I think it's the proximity effect: while the manager is on the road half the season, the GM is around the office a lot more, getting plenty of face time with the owner and explaining why it's not his fault the team sucks.
