Fallen Knight

The Twins said good-bye to Sidney Ponson today. I'm just surprised it took so long. In a year with home run rates down, Ponson allowed seven in 37 2/3 innings. Minnesota gave him ample opportunity to prove himself, and Sidney couldn't deliver.

I don't know about you but the Twins sure showed everyone that they can play ball and I'm sure it was because they knew Ponson was gone ......for good.....mystery being is why he was there in the first place....and why can't Pat Nechak(sic)play more than an inning? At least he knows where the strike zone is and where all the bases are...do the Twins really need to bring in another experiment now?? Come on......and I want to say congratulations to Torii Hunter on his game tonight and to all the Twins for the excellent example of Twins baseball tonight and also big Congratulations to Mike Redmond on his homer ...what a great hit!

what i do NOT understand is why they signed him in the first place when they have so MANY better pitchers right in their own system
