Games of the Day

Roy Oswalt faces Kyle Lohse in an NL Central battle this evening. Both teams are falling far behind the surging Brewers and are fighting to get back to .500. Oswalt found his control after reviewing video tape before his previous start. He walked one in eight innings after walking seventeen in his first 42. Lohse is posting excellent strikeout, walk and home run numbers, leading to a 3.12 ERA. Unfortunately, he's been outscored 15-11 while in the game. With Oswalt on the mound tonight, Kyle may need to pitch a shutout to win.

There's a battle of lefties on the west coast as Oliver Perez visits Barry Zito. Perez is keeping batters off base, allowing just a .228 OBA with the bases empty. Zito hasn't adjusted to his new home yet. He's allowed a 4.26 ERA at home vs. 2.08 on the road.

Enjoy!
