Leading the Way

Kelly Johnson get the Braves off on the right foot, leading off the game against Tom Glavine with his third home run of the season. It's the second leading off a game.

I get to watch the Mets all the time (since I live in NY state) and it seems Glavine has never done well against his old team. I think they know him too well. I just checked the Day-by-Day DB stats for him against the Braves and I'm right... he's only 3-10 with a 5.55 ERA coming into today's game. Ouch. In the 95 2/3 IP against them, he's only struck out 35. Right now, as I'm watching the game going into the 9th, the Braves are leading 9-6.
