Roger to Retire?

This sure makes it sound like Roger Clemens wants to hang up his spikes:

"I don't want to play," added Clemens, a seven-time Cy Young Award winner.

Seems pretty direct to me.

"I still told him 80-20 that I wasn't going to play."

Sure sounds like he's leaving plenty of room to come back.

Yeah, he says he doesn't want to play, but he also goes on with this gem:

""The teams that are involved, I think they've got really good clubs that are together, and if somebody stubs their toe and my phone rings in May, I might have to think about it," Clemens said."

In other words, "I don't want to play, but if a contender asks me to, I still might." So really, more of the same.

roger clemens don't want to play just like your wife don't need you to get her something "special" for her birthday/valentines day/anniversary

roger is just a guy who NEEDS to be, um, stroked
