A Tie?
I just saw a rumor that Jeter and Morneau are going to tie for the AL MVP.
Correction: It's Morneau, not Mauer. I guess it was wishful thinking on my part.
Update: If Mourneau does indeed win the MVP, I'm taking full credit. :-)

That says Morneau, not Mauer.
Tiebreaker should be number of 1st place votes. (Unless it already is.)
Morneau, the third most valuable Twin, wins the AL MVP. Brilliant work, voters.
Morneau? Over a catcher and a shortstop with arguably better numbers?
I don't understand what the Baseball Writers' Association of America members are thinking. Both MVP selections this year are irrational.
I'm sure the writers think it's cute to pick the small market guy that "nobody" has heard of, but come on. He's not even the MVP on his team. I have no problem with Mauer getting it over Jeter, but Morneau? Please.
bmc, they were thinking the same things they think every year. It's not worth getting worked up over because it's never going to change.
I wonder who the Minnesota voter voted for.
The writing baseball menand women don't know what makes
the MVP and how to vote.... DUMB
