The Milano Factor
MetsBlog corrects an article that explores the how Alyssa Milano helps a pitcher's performance. Actually, it's the other way around!
My daughter named our dog Phoebe after Milano's character in charmed.

My bad. I meant it more in jest than anything, but I should have dug a bit deeper when I wrote that. That'll teach me to try and be funny :-)
re; alyssa milano
i had a client many years ago who had a bit part in poison ivy two when alyssa milano did a number of nude scenes in that movie with jonathan schaech and they might have been an item back them.
anyway i saw that movie because the client was in it and i have to say, ms milano is a curvaceous bounty of nature, if somewhat petite for my own tastes.
one could easily see how a relationship with her might take something out of a pitcher's legs.
plus on top of that, actresses are notoriously crazy and like to stay out late, not saying that specifically about Ms. Milano, but all the actors and actresses I've every known are that way, whereas ballplayers need their sleep.
we all know what dating starlets did to Bo Belinsky's career. it caused him to be traded to the Phillies from LA.
