A game effort by Longfellow nonetheless. I blame it on the police for their morale-busting action. In the end, its always the intangibles.

What did the sign say?

Posted by: rbj at November 16, 2006 02:17 PM

The sign was a wooden D and a picket fence.

That is lame. I could understand it if the sign was offensive, but not a generic "D - fense" sign.

Maybe the problem was that it was set up in front of the Longfellow goal.

Posted by: Capybara at November 17, 2006 01:58 PM

Ah. I had assumed it was just a plain old sign in the stands.
