Bad Throws
A walk, three singles and two bad throws let the Phillies come back with three runs in the top of the second. With men on first and second, Lieberthal singled to drive in the first run, and the wild throw by the leftfielder allows Mike to end up at second. Nunez follows with another single, and the throw to try to nail Lieberthal is way up the line. The Phillies lead the Marlins 3-2, as once again Florida's inexperienced defense hurts them.
