Thanks DeJesus
Justin Morneau leads off the bottom of the tenth with a single. Hunter flies to shallow center, and DeJesus races in to make a sliding catch. The ball hits the pocket of his glove and rolls almost out, but he catches it in the webbing for the out.
White follows with an infield hit up the middle that just ticks off the shortstop's glove, allowing Morneau to go to third.
Update: The Royals walk Tyner to load the bases, putting a force play in force at all bases. However, they're going to pitch to Bartlett, who has one of the better OBAs on the team. He might very well drive in the winning run with a walk.
Update: Bartlett hits the ball over the drawn in centerfielder, plating the winning run with a single. The Twins win and move into a tie with the Tigers for first in the Central and just one game behind the Yankees for the best record in the league. The Tigers own the tie breaker, so the Twins need to pick up one game to earn home field in the first round.
