Phillies Take the Lead

The Phillies get to Wade Miller in the fourth. With two out and none on, Howard starts the rally with a single and a Dellucci double drives Miller from the game. (Was he injured?) A walk, error and single later the Phillies lead 3-0.

Miller struck out eight in his 4 2/3 innings, a positive sign for the pitcher.

Dave, i was shocked to see Baker remove him from the game at that point. he threw 92 pitches, that may be the reason. i dont know what type of injury he was coming back from, but i'm willing to bet it was his pitch count.

we got a bit of luck last night. Miller was un-stoppable up to that point. to see Howard take a walk was a blessing (he looked horrible the past 2 day), and to see Delucci get a big hit (he had about 5 rbi's since early august).
