Cubs Win

After Carlos Marmol gave up a three-run homer to Drew in his 1/3 inning of work, the rest of the Cubs bullpen went 3 2/3 hittless innings to allow Chicago to come back for a 6-5 victory. Eyre pitched 1 2/3 innings for the win,and Howry finished with a perfect ninth for the save.

Coupled with the Padres win, the Dodgers lead in the NL West is down to 1/2 game. The two teams open a four game series in Los Angeles tomorrow.
