Maulin' Marlon

The Dodgers picked up Marlon Anderson at the end of August, and so far he's produced for the team. He just hit his second home run with the Dodgers, a two-run shot for the first runs of the Los Angeles/Chicago game. He's seven for 19 with 14 total bases for the Dodgers.

re: marlon anderson

he came up with the phils, used to play with kevin stocker back in the day.

it's funny, he used to be a light hitter. seems like he's gotten bigger and learned how to play some outfield since his light hitting 2B days with the phils. I even see him jack one out once ina while now, something he never did as a phillie hardly. He's really learned to hit the ball and by doing so, and by learning multiple positions, kept himself in the league a much longer time than anyone would have predicted.
