Celebration

While my wife and I were out celebrating our 20th wedding anniversay, Ryan Howard was celebrating with two homers vs. the Marlins, driving in all three runs for Philadelphia. I guess Scott Olsen, who's usually very good against lefties, couldn't fool the big slugger. That gives Howard 56, which was the old NL record held by Hack Wilson for 68 years.

The Phillies lead 3-1 in the bottom of the ninth, but Cabrera doubled to start the inning.

Update: Cabrera scores, but that's it as Philadelphia takes game two 3-2. That puts the Phillies two games ahead of the Marlins and gives them a chance to gain on San Diego. Moyer pitches a very strong game, giving up five hits and no walks in eight innings, allowing just one run.

20 years: congrats! May your marriage last as long as the Cubs world series championship drought! :-)
