re: Albert Belle & Jose Conseco

These are two guys who have become sort of jokes around the baseball alumni community, but who in their 20s looked like they might hit 500 home runs and make a run at the hall of fame. Belle was a key member of the Cleveland ballclub that made it to the series twice and came within a game of the world championship in 1997, and Conseco was a key member of a team that won three consecutive pennants and a world championship from 1988-90.

Even with their steep declines in their early 30s, Belle & Conseco still posted big career home run and win share numbers.
