Some Slugfests Tonight
The Tigers mount a comeback and now trail Cleveland 8-7 in the fourth inning.Young and Inge homered for Detroit, accouting for four of the runs. Byrd only lasts three innings for the Tribe as both teams go to their bullpens early.
Matt Morris finds himself out of the game after just 2 1/3 innings as the Nationals hang seven runs on his record. Ramon Ortiz gave up two home runs but is still in the game as Washington leads the Giants 7-5 in the sixth.
The Cubs and Mets are going back and fourth in their game as Chicago leads 6-5 in the bottom of the sixth. Each team hit two home runs and both starters, Glavine and Zambrano are still in the game.
