Ortiz Out of Reach

Shawn Camp is learning just how tough the Red Sox lineup can be. He's faced five batters in the ninth, all have reached, the fourth being David Ortiz who blasted his second homer of the night (and his second opposite field home run), a grand slam to turn a 1-run game into a 5-run lead. That gives Ortiz 29 homers and 82 RBI with 83 games played. With six home runs in July, you have to start wondering if Ortiz can stay hot during the summer and threaten Roger Maris' AL record of 61 home runs.
