McClatchy Wants Out?
Baseball Primer Newsblog at Baseball Think Factory posts a quote from the Pirates owner about how he doesn't think he'll be a long time owner of the a franchise. Mark Cuban is interested and probably has the cash in his pocket.

Cuban would be a great choice for the fans of Pittsburgh. He will do what it takes to field a winner. I just hope his basketball team drops 3 games to the Spurs in the next week or so....
I'm all for that.... It's a shame what that organization has become. Their fans deserve better
I don't think Selig would let a free thinker into the fraternity.
Of course, considering McClatchey isn't majority owner anymore, I'm not sure his words have much weight.
