Kris Krisp

The Orioles dominated the Tampa Bay Devil Rays tonight, winning by a score of 8-4. Kris Benson showed that the Orioles they made a good deal as he goes seven strong innings, striking out five and walking just one. His ERA now stands at 1.93 and his opponents' batting average a low .188. He's given the Orioles two solid, quality starts, going seven inning in each game. Having an inning eater like Kris should help the rest of the staff.

More importantly, let's see how he's doing when he isn't facing Tampa...he faces the Angels next. That should be fun.

It's amazing how well one can perform when one's not constrained by fears of one's wife sleeping with the entire Mets organization.

That Jorge Julio trade is looking real good right about now, huh? Must stay positive... must stay positive... repeat to self: 5-1.

Jorgeeeeeeeee Juulioooo!!!! That was a head scratcher, to be sure. Sure, Benson's a bit overpaid, but a league average starter is a hell of a lot more valuable than a late inning arsonist.

Do you think there's any chance that, before the year is out, there will be a reference to Kris Benson here which does not include, in either the article or the comments, a reference to Anna?

I can only control the articles.
