Nomar Takes a Ribbing
The Dodgers may place Nomar Garciaparra on the DL today.\
No one was willing to say it, but Dodgers first baseman Nomar Garciaparra probably will be placed on the 15-day disabled list today with a strained muscle in his right side, an injury he suffered during Sunday's Freeway Series finale at Angel Stadium.
So much for the Dodgers staying healthy.

Ah spring... the birds are chirping, the trees are budding, and Nomar's headed to the DL.
Getting to be like clockwork, is it not?
Nomar might actually be the next Juan Gonzalez. How depressing.
Does Colletti get the same lambasting that DePo received last year once all of his off-season acquistions get injured and the Dodgers suck again? I hope so.
It makes losing Choi through waivers look like not such a smart move now.
Nomar on the DL? What's next, Kerry Wood going there as well. Oh, right.
About Choi --- exactly. Although didn't he land on Boston's DL somehow? We'll get to see now how James Loney handles things.
Ben, the difference here is that this oft-injured player doesn't have a 55 million dollar deal.
didn't see this one coming, at kent can now move to first. j.d drew next to go on the d.l
well it's ok if someone colletti hired is hurt and on the DL and it's ok if he gets rid of any person depo thought was good.
remember that depo is a guy who did real terrible things like go to college and know how to use a computer. colletti, well guess he must be a HS dropout and couldn't tell a computer from a toaster over so he's ok.
