Conte Goes Home

Victor Conte is out of jail, although he'll be confined to his home for a while. I wonder what he's going to do with himself now? Write a tell-all book, maybe?

Baseball Musings is conducting a pledge drive in March. Click here for details.

He may want to push "select ghostwriter" up his task list a bit; there's always an assemblyperson itching to re-enact a crowd-pleasing "Son of Sam" law to replace the one struck down four years ago by the California Supreme Court.

ooh. What if they enact a "Son of Bobby" law to prevent people from profiting from illegal use of controlled substances? Barry better hope Arnold keeps his day job, if only because the Guvernator could also be indicted under such a statute.
