Having Jaret Wright around does not count as pitching depth. I think the Yanks are better off with him injured.

Jaret Wright? Injured? If only there were some way the Yankees could have seen this coming.

Ben's right on it. The Yanks are better off not having him as an option...Torre might feel compelled to give him a chance. It's too bad, because Wright seems like a nice guy, and a hard worker. Doesn't keep his signing from being a disaster, though.

javier vazquez, orlando hernandez, esteban loaiza, jose contreras, and jeff weaver are looking pretty good right now...

Loaiza and Weaver aren't looking that great. But Javier Vazquez and Jose Contreras do look nice. Too bad the Yanks didn't have a pitching coach who could help those two.
