Castellini Wants to Win

I'm listening to Robert Castellini, and he just said, "We're buying the Reds to win." He says they will be making changes to the structure of the front office, but it's structural, not personnel (yet). He's also talking about spending the buget better, using Cleveland, the White Sox and Astros as examples.

Correction: Robert Castellini is the Reds owner, not Ned Colletti.

Colletti's the Dodger GM. I think you mean Castellini.

Easier said than done.

I'd be really concerned in Cincinnati if the new guy came in and announced he was buying the team to use as a tax write-off. What's his plan?

He says he'll have his office at the stadium where
he'll be every day, as opposed to Lindner who had
his offices elsewhere & was more detached. Of course,
if Castellini is a good guy, this may be a good thing.

I think changing the dimensions of Great American Smallpark would be a good first start.
