Seoing Up the Deal
The Mets and Dodgers compelete the trade rumored earlier:
The Los Angeles Dodgers, in search of starting pitching, acquired right-hander Jae Seo and left-handed reliever Tim Hamulack from the New York Mets on Wednesday for right-handed relievers Duaner Sanchez and Steve Schmoll.
It looks like a good deal for the Dodgers. Jon Weisman has more.

What do we know about Hamulack? Schmoll had a funky delivery, was good for a while last year, and then kinda melted down.
Hamulack isn't much of a prospect - almost 30, I believe, and not very good. Unless he has a good GB/FB rate or peripherals that will be aided a lot by Dodger Stadium, I don't see him making the team.
Not that it matters - the Dodgers got a decent, cheap, back of the rotation guy who can eat some innings, and who they can jettison once Billingsley and Co are ready.
The Mets got a middle reliever who does throw hard, but had a crappy road ERA last year, and Schmoll.
