Scrabble Points

Humbug Journal now has a Scrabble calculator for player names. One of my favorite graphics I researched at ESPN was the all-time list of highest scoring baseball names. Javier Vazquez was 1st at 53. As of this writing, he's still #1 among active players.

This is maybe the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

You're probably right, Chris, and it would have been dumber if it took me a week to program, but once the idea struck me, it only took a couple of minutes to build. So what the heck?

I should also mention, that it has been pointed out to me as a result of this, that "Javier Vazquez" would be an impossible phrase to play in Scrabble, because the game only has one "Z" tile.

I suppose I should now alter the program to take this into account, but would that be an even dumber thing to do?

But there are two blanks (so up to 3 Zs available). But they have a score of zero when played. :)
