Howry a Cub

The Cubs completed their bullpen yesterday with the signing of Bobby Howry. Bleed Cubbie Blue covers the story.

With the pitching set, the Cubs are set to go into the winter meetings looking for outfielders who can get on base.

Well, heck...only if by getting on base, you mean by swinging the bat! I don't know any manager who thinks about "On Base Percentage" It ain't called walking...it's called hitting!

Another $4 million per year middle reliever for the Cubs?

Is there any less predictable year-to-year player than the middle reliver?

The Cubs are on the clock. It's time to worry about winning the Series. I've always been a Sox fan, but have a hidden love for the Cubbies as well. Time to cut the crap, sign young, talented players with a few impact veterans, and WIN!!!
