Utley and Rollins

At what point do the Phillies swap Rollins and Utley in the order? Rollins, with almost 3000 career at bats, pretty much proved he doesn't get on base much. His career OBA is .324, and this season it's below .320. Utley, finally given a chance to play every day, is posting a .380 OBA. He's 1 for 2 tonight with a walk to raise it to .384. Chase should be batting second behind Michaels. That does a better job of setting up the heart of the order, plus Michaels being on base will make good use of Utley's power.

Similar problem with the Cubs in Chicago where Dusty is leading off with Corey Patterson (.277 OBP season/.299 OBP career) and has Neifi Perez in the two slot (.300/.301). These two are obviously not the best choices as tablesetters for Derrek Lee.

Why not Jerry Hairston, Jr. (.360/.336) and Todd Walker (.370/.348)?

Personally, I think Abreu should lead off for the Phils, with Lofton/Michaels second, Thome third, and Burrell fifth. Imagine how many first inning runs they could score with this lineup:

Abreu
Lofton/Michaels
Thome
Burrell
Utley
Bell
Rollins
Lieberthal
pitcher

I would prefer either Kenny/Michaels leading off and keeping Abreu in more of an RBI spot with Bell hitting 6th against lefties (which he is killing this year) and batting 8th against righties and Thome/Burrell flip-flopping the 4, 5 spot based upon lefty/righty starting pitching matchup
