In Play

The Angels are the perfect team to go against pitchers like Brown and Mussina. They just put the ball in play, and with Brown and Mussina unable to overpower them, they keep finding holes. Eight of eighteen Angels who put the ball in play today against Kevin have been rewarded with base hits through four innings, and the LAAOA lead NY 3-0.

The Yankee defense has been a main culprit in their ealy season struggles. I watch 4-5 games a week. The range factors of of the the outfiedlers are well below average. Bernie is at rock bottom. He can not cover Center any better than John Madden could now. Womack, Jeter are below average UZR,of course, when when Giambi plays 1st -- I am too depressed to continue. This team may not see .500 at any point this year. THey are old, boring and lifeless.
