Good stuff. In his assessment of the Twins' chances versus the Yankees, he points to an article over at Redbird Nation:

The jist of this article is that teams with ace starters don't necessarily fare better than those without during the postseason.

It's interesting to see two stats oriented analysts coming up with two different pictures of the hypothesis that starting pitching has an exaggerated impact on the postseason.

Great preview, up until the end where he predicts the Red Sox winning the WS. They gotta do it before I can believe that they will do it. Sorta like a team taking the NL East title away from Atlanta.
