Western Wonder
Jeff Weaver outpitched Kerry Wood tonight. I didn't think I'd ever write that. :-) Wood only lasted 2 innings, with tightness in his right tricep. Maybe he was just embarassed to be losing to Jeff Weaver.

Have always thought that Jeff Weaver should be arrested for impersonating a major league pitcher but he has given up 3 runs or less in his last 3 starts in which he has pitched at least 7 innings.
I think he's inspired by being on the same coast as his kid relative. ;)
or its just getting away from the yankees
