Lowe Down

Derek Lowe hasn't helped Edward Cossette's Sylvia Plath complex tonight. He's given up 9 hits and seven runs, but only 2 are earned. However, when you give up five unearned runs, it's not all the defense's fault. Cleveland leads 7-1 in the fifth.

Leave it to the Indians to make it interesting and let the Sox close to within a run. This bullpen takes "hair-raising" to entirely new levels.

Phil, that's exactly what we were saing about the Boston bullpen at this time last year, when the bats were hot and no lead was safe - either way.
