Since I opened up comments on this site a few months ago, I've been extremely impressed with the level of discussion that goes on within that section of the web site. If you're not reading the comments left on this weblog, you're missing out on interesting information and ideas. I mailed this to you the other day and it came back, with the note: Mailbox full. So I'll put it here for those who might be interested.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons just finished a study of 36 minor leaguers and determined (surprise!) catchers risk injuring their hands more than pitchers, infielders, and outfielders.
