Poor Deal is Dead
The mega-deal of the millenium is no more. The Rangers are going to have to live with the best player in the game, and the Red Sox are going to have to live with two great hitters in their lineup.

We Mariners fans are perfectly happy with Arod being banished to the basement. He bought that ticket himself.
Too bad his union-mates won't let him leave because by Arod taking less money to get out of there, it would be "bad for the players".
What a bunch of idiots. The MLPA is the strongest union in hte nation, and the dumbest.
Finley is laughing somewhere.....
Indeed, Finley is laughing somewhere...but the deal will still happen before spring training.
i don't think we've heard the end of this. watch for trade talk to start up again next offseason, if the sox are unable to resign Nomar.
