No Bad Publicity

If nothing else, the Red Sox trade, the Sheffield story, the various free agent signings have kept baseball news on the front burner. There aren't too many times that I go to ESPN.com's front page and not see a baseball story up for part of the time. Even my blog traffic hasn't fallen off as much as I expected it would this off season, and this last week has shown a spike in daily traffic. People are in tune with baseball, and that's good for the game.

So true about no drop off in traffic. Same for me @ Bambino's

Must admit I had assumed that Baseball Musings was in the 10,000+ a day unique visitor range. (It will be shortly I'm sure!)

Don't forget the Andy Pettitte story was big too. I think sometimes Musings concentrates only on the Eastern Teams. I am guilty of reading NL Central stuff mostly too. I am sure I hit this site 100's of times looking for new commentary on the AP/Roger?Stros stuff.
