The Nationals make their way to New York to face the Yankees. Tanner Roark and CC Sabathia do battle from the mound. Roark pitched a bit better on the road this season, as only three of his nine home runs coming away in more innings than he pitched at home. Sabathia pitches better at home, with an ERA a run better than on the road. He has both issued fewer walks and struck out more batters in Yankee Stadium this season.

The Oakland Athletics are hanging on the edge of the division race as they host the Astros. Lance McCullers, Jr. takes on Daniel Mengden. McCullers already beat Oakland twice this season, allowing two runs in 12 innings. Mengden walked just 11 batters in 78 1/3 innings, one of the lowest rates in the league.
