Mighty Mouse

Jose Altuve does it again, homering in the bottom of the fifth inning to give the Astros a 2-0 lead over the Yankees. He has now hit five home runs in the 2017 post-season after hitting 24 in the regular season.

Update: Carlos Correa follows with a single. I also just noticed that Altuve and Aaron Judge have the same hair cut. Altuve hit that home run the other way, by the way.

Update: Yuli Gurriel goes the other way for a single, and the Astros have runners at first and third with one out.

Update: Brian McCann comes through again. He lines a double down the line in rightfield. With two out, both runners score, and the Astros lead the Yankees 4-0. That’s it for Tommy Kahnle.

Update: The Astros have done what they needed, getting a decent lead before they go to the bullpen. We’ll see if they and score McCann.

Update: Adam Warren induces a ground ball to end the inning. The Astros put the Yankees in a hole. We’ll see if they can climb out.
