Quite the Comeback

The Yankees vanquish the impossible to beat Indians, winning the final games 5-2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Joe Girardi so happy, as his teams bails him out from his non-challenge in game two.

It was an impressive series for strikeouts. The teams came into game five striking out 24 times on average in a game. The pitchers recorded 31 K this evening.

It was a little guy win on offense, as Brett Gardner and Didi Gregorius did the damage at the plate, and a big man win on the mound as CC Sabathia and Aroldis Chapman were dominant, with an assist from David Robertson.

It’s on to Houston for New York. This will be a very tough series.
