MLB caught Starling Marte using Nadralone, and he will miss 80 games and the post-season:

In a statement released by the MLBPA, Marte apologized and said “neglect and lack of knowledge” led to the positive test.

“With much embarrassment and helplessness, I ask for forgiveness for unintentionally disrespecting so many people who have trusted in my work and have supported me so much,” he said. “I promise to learn the lesson that this ordeal has left me. God bless you.”

I almost believe him, since Nadralone is an older steroid, easy to detect, and stays in the system a long time.

Marte led the Pirates in WAR in 2016 with a 4.0 mark, so this is a huge loss for the Pirates.
