My last massive tie scenario update was published last night. For Friday’s games, these results would be best to help create a tie:

• The Rays defeat the Yankees
• The Indians beat Detroit*
• The Twins win over the Astros
• The Angels beat the Rangers

Both the Angels and Twins have a chance to pull the leaders back to the pack tonight. Note that for the tie with the highest number of wins, the Twins should lose, but I’d rather see the teams get as close as possible as quickly as possible to increase the probability of a tie at some level.

*I have not ruled out Cleveland from a tie scenario, it’s just that the three-way tie for the AL West makes things much more interesting.
